Unfinished Flooring

The stage that sets the scene

It can be refined and sophisticated, warm and inviting, or rustic and charming. The incredible versatility of wood makes it the premiere choice in flooring. Wightman specializes in hardwood and Eastern white pine flooring for both residential and commercial uses.

Wightman’s Eastern White Pine flooring has surged in popularity among those who wish to replicate the provincial charm of flooring found in homes of centuries past. The flooring is softer than hardwood flooring, and will age with character. All boards are kiln-dried to 10 to 12 percent moisture content and milled for tongue-and-groove installation.

Hardwoods

All of Wightman’s hardwood flooring is kiln-dried on site to 6 to 8 percent moisture content and stored in climate-controlled rooms for immediate delivery and installation. Wightman hardwood flooring is tongue and groove, random length, and end-matched with a relief on back.
